Joan Wash has been in the jan-san industry since 1992, and she can still tell you where it started: professional and product training at Johnson's Wisconsin headquarters, learning the chemistry and the catalog from the ground up.

She built the next three decades on that foundation, developing real depth in high volume product sales and in government bidding, a process that rewards precision and punishes nearly everything else. Joan came to American Sanitary Products through the company's merger with Cebco, Inc., a jan-san company that specialized in government contracts. Today she handles purchasing, putting that long product knowledge to work keeping the right things in stock and the orders moving. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Monmouth College.

Outside the office, her time goes to her son and her grandchildren. She also completed formal training in India and teaches and practices meditation, a discipline with more application to a bid deadline than you might think.
